Circulating Pumps
Moving huge volumes of fluid in wide, shallow tanks without aeration

The simple logistics of microbial fuel production present new problems never before posed to engineers. One such problem is the requirement for incredibly large tanks to grow, feed and process these micro algae in suitable quantities to fulfill market demand. Consider the logistics put into play with 700 square mile tanks, only 12 inches deep. When you also consider that the micro algae can not tolerate the introduction of oxygen or the loss of CO2 a primary nutrient you start to understand the problem.

Addressing these concerns, the scientists at Admiral Fluidics Co. applied the improvements discovered during the development of its SolidWater™ propeller technology to arrive at a novel solution to these issues. The resultant solution is a highly efficient, laminar discharge pump that is effective at moving wide, shallow horizontal columns of fluid.

We understand the different microbial fuel solutions have different specific issues from waste removal to uniform feed supply, to end product extraction but all these issues depend upon features furnished by our technology.

And, we are getting improvements in efficiency by a factor of 5 over rotating systems in the lab!

What part of the solution do you need now? Call a chat with our engineers and we will show you what we can do.
